Oled display




My new ssd1306 oled adafruit screen arrived a couple of days ago, but after setting it up I realised my old one wasn't broken after all, so now have two working oled boards.

With the help of an online tutorial on YouTube from theraspberrypiguy.com I was soon running the display with various fonts, showing my IP address along with date and time. I still need to spend some more time on getting images to be displayed but that can wait for another day

    I have since found the missing penguin file in /root and placed it in the correct folder. To make the penguins appear on screen run the following:

    Sudo python OLEDimages.py penguins900x600.jpg
